Tulsa roundup

October 5 to 11, 2026

Ella Langley and Journey downtown

Ella Langley brings the Dandelion Tour to the BOK Center on Friday, October 9, a night after Journey plays what they say is their last run. CeCe Winans closes the arena weekend, and the Tulsa State Fair wraps up Sunday with a free show every night.

The one thing

Ella Langley plays the BOK Center on Friday, October 9 at 7 pm, and this is the hottest ticket in town this fall. The Dandelion Tour sold out its first leg, and Tulsa was one of 21 dates added in June to keep up.

It has been a huge year for her. "Choosin' Texas" spent six weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and Dandelion, the album she produced with Miranda Lambert and Ben West, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it came out on April 10. Expect a whole arena singing that one back to her.

Get there early for the openers. Kameron Marlowe brings a big country voice, and Laci Kaye Booth starts the night. The BOK Center is cashless everywhere except the box office, and the clear bag policy is strict.

Live music and comedy

The arena gets three big nights in a row, and the clubs are busy all week. Thursday is the toughest call, with five good shows at once.

Festivals and free stuff

  • The Tulsa State Fair runs through Sunday, October 11 at Expo Square, and the Oklahoma Stage shows are free with gate admission. This week brings Colt Ford on Tuesday, Drew Baldridge on Wednesday, Gin Blossoms on Thursday, Waka Flocka Flame on Friday and Neal McCoy on Saturday, all at 7:30 pm. The fair closes Sunday with La Alianza Norteña and Geru y Su Legión 7, starting earlier at 6 pm. Adult gate admission is $17.
  • The Tulsa Farmers' Market is open Saturday, October 10 from 8 am to noon at 1 South Lewis in Kendall Whittier.

Sports

Tulsa Golden Hurricane football lost a wild one to North Texas on October 1, 45 to 44 in overtime, even with Baylor Hayes throwing three touchdowns and running for two more. Now they head to Annapolis to play Navy on Saturday, October 10 at 2:30 pm, on CBS Sports Network.

FC Tulsa picked up four points in four days at home last week, finishing with a draw against Sacramento. This week they are on the road at Lexington SC on Friday, October 9, then back at ONEOK Field on October 17 against Oakland Roots.

On the horizon

Tulsa Theater has The Living Tombstone on October 13 and Dogstar, the band with Keanu Reeves on bass, on October 14. Then Staind fills the BOK Center on October 16 with Hoobastank and Hinder, and Travis Tritt plays The Cove the same night.

October 17 is packed. The Tulsa Oilers open their 75th season at the BOK Center against Allen, and the Tulsa Pride parade steps off at 4 pm from 13th and Boston.

Full rundown next Monday.
