Bricktown Comedy Club is Tulsa's home for standup, a dedicated comedy room on South Yale on the city's south side. It is intimate, under 500 seats, set up cabaret style with small tables of about four, so you are close to the stage and part of the show. National headliners, touring road comics, and local lineups all cycle through, often several nights a week.
A comedy club night is its own thing. There is a full menu of appetizers, entrees, and desserts plus craft cocktails and local beer, and like most clubs there is a minimum of two items per person, so plan to order. Tables fill in close to the stage, where the energy is, which is exactly what good standup needs.
Shows are usually 18 and up, with some set at 21 and up, and the room is fully accessible. It is an easy night out on the south side, with parking nearby and plenty of food and drink right at your table. Come for a name you know or take a chance on a lineup you do not. The room is small enough that every set lands.
