The BOK Center is Tulsa's flagship arena and the room where the biggest tours land. It opened downtown in 2008 as the centerpiece of the city's Vision 2025 plan, and it holds up to 19,199 for a center stage concert, which makes it the largest indoor venue in the region. When an arena act comes to Oklahoma, this is usually where they play.
It is also a genuine piece of architecture. The arena was designed by Cesar Pelli, the architect behind the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, and it shows. Pelli wrapped the building in a swirling skin of glass and stainless steel that nods to Art Deco and Native American design, and the curves carry inside. Even before the lights go down, walking up to the BOK Center feels like an event. The ribbon was cut in 2008 by two of Oklahoma's own, Garth Brooks and Hanson.
Inside it is a true modern bowl. For a concert the floor sits closest to the stage, the 100 level lower bowl wraps around it with the best views straight to the stage, a set of club seats sits in the heart of the lower level in sections 109 through 111, and the 300 level upper bowl rings the top for the wide, affordable view. 38 premium suites ride the middle. Because the room reconfigures for hockey, basketball, football, and concerts, the exact map changes by show, so the seating chart for your specific event is the one to trust. As a rule, lower level center sections give you the classic arena view, the floor gets you closest, and the upper level is where the deals are.
A few things make the night smoother. The BOK Center uses a clear bag policy, so leave the backpack at home and bring a small clear bag or a clutch. The arena has no lot of its own, but there are thousands of spaces in downtown garages and lots within an easy walk, and street parking is free after 5pm. It is home to the Tulsa Oilers too, so on many nights it is hockey rather than headliners. Whatever is on, this is the big one, the room you go to when the show is too big for anywhere else in town.
BOK Center seating and floor plan
A seating, layout, and best seats guide for BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Good to know before you go
- What are the best seats at the BOK Center?
- It depends on the show and your budget. For a concert, the floor gets you closest to the stage, the 100 level lower bowl wraps the floor with the classic straight on arena view, and the center lower sections are the sweet spot for most people. The club seats in sections 109 to 111 sit right in the heart of the lower level. The 300 level upper bowl is the wide view and the best value. Always check the seating chart for your specific event, since the layout changes by show.
- How is the BOK Center laid out?
- It is a modern arena bowl. The floor is at stage level, the 100 level is the lower bowl (sections 101 to 122, with club seats in 109 to 111), there are 38 premium suites on the middle level, and the 300 level is the upper bowl (sections 301 to 328). The floor changes by event because the room reconfigures for concerts, hockey, basketball, and football.

- How big is the BOK Center?
- It holds up to 19,199 for a center stage concert, and the capacity scales down for other setups, around 17,800 for basketball and 17,100 for hockey. It is the largest indoor venue in the Tulsa region.
