Tulsa roundup
October 12 to 18, 2026
Staind, Dogstar and a big Saturday
Staind brings the Break the Cycle anniversary tour to the BOK Center on Friday, October 16. Dogstar plays Tulsa Theater on Wednesday, and Saturday, October 17 brings Tulsa Pride, the Oilers home opener and FC Tulsa at ONEOK Field.
The one thing
Staind plays the BOK Center on Friday, October 16, and it is a full night of the rock radio you grew up on. The tour marks 25 years of Break the Cycle, the album that gave us "It's Been Awhile," and this whole tour is built around it.
The bill is stacked. Hoobastank and Hinder are both on it, and Hinder is an Oklahoma City band, so expect the room to treat them like family. Seether is billed as direct support on the tour.
Doors are early, with the show starting at 6 pm. The BOK Center is cashless everywhere except the box office, and the clear bag policy is strict.
Live music and comedy
Tulsa Theater has the two most interesting nights of the week, back to back. The casinos carry the weekend.

Festivals and free stuff
- Tulsa Pride is Saturday, October 17, with the parade, live music and a Pride Market full of local makers. Construction on Pride Street moved the festival this year, so head to 6th Street and Frankfort Avenue, a short walk from the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center.
- The Tulsa Farmers' Market is open Saturday, October 17 from 8 am to noon at 1 South Lewis in Kendall Whittier.
Sports
The Tulsa Oilers open their 75th season at the BOK Center on Saturday, October 17 at 7:05 pm against the Allen Americans. That is a lot of history on one sheet of ice, and opening night is always loud.
FC Tulsa is home at ONEOK Field the same night, hosting Oakland Roots at 7 pm. Tulsa Golden Hurricane football fell 34 to 26 at Navy on October 10 and heads to Rice on Saturday, October 17.
On the horizon
Garth Brooks plays the BOK Center three times, on October 23, October 24 and a 2 pm show on October 25. That same weekend Blue October plays Tulsa Theater on October 24, and October 25 brings AFI to Cain's Ballroom and Iron & Wine to Guthrie Green.
