About Steven Ho
From the ER to the mic.
Steven Ho used to work as an emergency room technician. That job turned into a video series called Tips from the ER, the series turned into an audience of more than fourteen million people across his platforms, and the audience turned into a touring stand up career. The act is built out of the same material as the job.
He runs the Not Your Hero tour through clubs and theaters in 2026, with stops this year that have included Comedy Works in Denver and The Neptune in Seattle. A lot of the set comes from stories his own audience sends him, which means the show keeps refilling itself with new material.
He plays Bricktown Comedy Club on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 7 pm, with more shows through the weekend. Medical comedy plays differently in a room full of people who work at Saint Francis or Hillcrest, and Bricktown gets a fair number of them on a Thursday.
