About Lonestar
Lonestar headlines a chili festival.
Amazed spent eight weeks at number one on the country chart in 1999 and then crossed over and topped the pop chart too, which almost never happens. Lonestar has been touring on that song and a stack of others since 1992, and they are still a reliably big sounding band in a room this size.
They headline Friday night at the second Tunes and Spoons Music and Chili Festival, which runs August 21 through 23 at the Claremore Expo Center. Getting in is free. The band goes on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 7:30 pm, and there is a paid front of stage section with actual chairs if you would rather not stand.
Claremore is about thirty minutes northeast of Tulsa straight up Route 66, which feels right during the road's centennial year. Between the chili cook off and the car cruise, this is a full evening even before anybody plugs in.
