About Buddy Guy
A living legend of the blues, still electric at 90.
Buddy Guy is one of the last living giants of the blues. The Louisiana born, Chicago made guitarist helped define the electric blues and inspired nearly everyone who came after, from Hendrix and Clapton to Stevie Ray Vaughan, with a wild, unpredictable style and a huge voice.
Across a seven decade career he has won multiple Grammys, earned a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and kept making vital records well into his late eighties. Now around 90, he is still touring and still capable of stopping a room cold with a single bent note.
Seeing Buddy Guy live is a chance to witness blues history in person. Headlining the Tulsa Theater, a beautiful old hall, is the perfect setting for a legend.
