Stoney LaRue is one of the cornerstones of red dirt country, the rootsy Oklahoma and Texas scene built on the road that grew up around Stillwater. Raised in Oklahoma, he built a devoted following the old way, night after night on the road, with songs like Oklahoma Breakdown, Feet Don't Touch the Ground, and Velvet that fans know by heart.
