About Zach John King
A country newcomer with a poet's pen and an alt rock edge.
Zach John King is one of the most talked about new names in country, a writer first who grew up in Fayetteville, Georgia around generations of poets. He came up fronting an indie rock band in college, soaked in everyone from George Jones to The Police, and moved to Nashville in 2021 to chase it down.
His breakout Wannabe Cowboy struck a nerve, a conflicted and honest ballad that pulled in millions of streams, and singles like Get To Drinkin' and Backwoods have pushed him up the country charts. The industry noticed too, with spots on a stack of 2026 artists to watch lists.
He has spent the last couple of years opening for some of the biggest names in the format, and his Tulsa stop is a chance to catch him on the way up. Get there early, the openers on this bill are not filler.
