About Zac Townsend
A Nashville opener headlines now.
If you have been to an arena comedy show in the last few years, you may have seen Zac Townsend already. He has opened for Shane Gillis, Theo Von, Bert Kreischer, Andrew Santino, Trevor Wallace, Jessica Kirson and Steve-O, which is a long apprenticeship in front of very big crowds.
Now he is out under his own name. He takes the Loony Bin on Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26, 2026, with sets at 7 pm and 9:30 pm both nights. Four chances across one weekend is a lot of stage time for a club headliner.
Townsend is based in Nashville and builds his act out of ordinary trouble, told fast, with the turns coming sooner than you expect. The early set is the calmer one. The 9:30 is where a Friday crowd in Tulsa has had time to settle in, which cuts both ways.
