About The Toadies
Texas grunge, loud as ever.
The Toadies bring their Texas grunge to Cain's Ballroom with Local H along for the ride. The Fort Worth band broke through in the 90s with Rubberneck and the radio staple Possum Kingdom.
They are not just running on nostalgia. Their new album The Charmer was one of the last records made with the legendary producer Steve Albini, cut live in the studio with all the raw power that suggests.
Cain's has a long history with loud bands, going back to the night the Sex Pistols played there in 1978. A Toadies show fits right into that lineage, heavy and built to be felt.
