The Pretty Reckless started as a side project for Taylor Momsen, the actress turned frontwoman, and grew into one of the most reliable rock bands of the last fifteen years. With Ben Phillips on guitar, they broke through on Heaven Knows and Going to Hell and kept it going with a heavy, blues soaked sound and Momsen's powerhouse voice out front.
They have topped the rock charts more than once and shared stages with Soundgarden and Guns N Roses, the kind of company that tells you where they sit. Records like Death by Rock and Roll and the new Dear God show a band that keeps getting darker and bigger without losing the hooks.
