About The Midnight
Eighties synth dreams at Cain's.
Syndicate arrived on October 3, 2025, and The Midnight have been touring it ever since. A deluxe edition followed on May 15, 2026 with six more songs, and the Time Machines tour reaches Cain's Ballroom on September 26, 2026.
The Midnight are Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan, a songwriter from Georgia and a producer from Denmark. Their sound is built from 1980s synths, enormous choruses, and a saxophone that shows up right when you want it. It sounds like a movie you half remember.
Cain's is general admission with that sprung maple floor, which is exactly what this show needs. People sing along to every word, and by the back half of the set the whole floor is moving together.
