Steve Earle is one of the great American songwriters, an outlaw country and roots rock lifer who has never stopped speaking his mind. He broke out in 1986 with Guitar Town and went bigger with Copperhead Road, building a catalog of hard, literate songs across nearly forty years and more than fifteen albums.

Backed by his longtime band the Dukes, he writes with a novelist's eye and a rebel's heart, and he was recently inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. He is the kind of artist other songwriters revere.
