About Pesado

Norteno heavyweights land at Imperio.

Few bands carry norteno music the way Pesado does. The Monterrey group has been one of the genre's anchors for decades, built on accordion, bajo sexto and a horn heavy arrangement style that fills a room without needing a stadium to do it.

Their 2026 run works both sides of the border, through Mexico and across the United States, with dates in Dallas, Houston, Georgia and Florida. On some stops they bring other giants of the genre with them, including Cardenales de Nuevo Leon and Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon.

The Tulsa stop is at the Imperio Event Center on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 9 pm. Imperio is the room where Tulsa's Latin music scene actually lives, and a Pesado booking there is the kind of night the whole east side turns out for. It starts late and it ends later.
