About Oklahoma Renaissance Festival
A weekend trip back to 1500s England near Tulsa.
The Oklahoma Renaissance Festival is a beloved spring tradition at the Castle of Muskogee, about an hour southeast of Tulsa. Now past its thirtieth season, it transforms the castle and its sixty acre village into the fictional 1500s English town of Castleton across several spring weekends.
Expect full contact jousting, a royal court, jesters, magicians, minstrels, and a village full of merchants, food, and feasts. There are pirate ships, a faery boardwalk, and a working clock tower, the kind of all day, all ages adventure you make a trip out of.
It is a destination, not a quick night out. For families and fantasy fans around Tulsa, the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival is one of the most fun weekends on the spring calendar.
