Norma Jean are one of the most influential bands in metalcore. Formed in Douglasville, Georgia in the late 1990s, they broke out with their 2002 debut Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child, a record so chaotic and heavy that it became a landmark and shaped a whole generation of bands that followed.
Across two decades they have kept pushing a thunderous, mathy, unrelenting sound, earning a Grammy nomination along the way and a deeply loyal following. They are a band built for sweaty, loud rooms, not arenas.
