In late August 2026 Gladys Knight told her audience she is easing into fewer performances. Her words were about transition rather than retirement, about spending more time with her husband's projects and her grandchildren, and she still has dates booked into November. It is not a farewell tour and she has not called it one. It is a legend saying out loud that she is going to do less of this.
