About Gene Simmons Band
KISS songs without the makeup.
No platform boots, no face paint, no fire. Gene Simmons has spent 2026 touring a four piece band that plays KISS songs straight, and the whole appeal is the absence of the production. He is on bass and vocals with Jason Walker and Brent Woods on guitars and Brian Tichy on drums, and the setlist is the catalog.
The run started with a batch of American dates over the summer, some of which came and went with changes, and it continues into a Canadian stretch that opens in Edmonton on November 30. Earlier in the year the tour picked up support from Sebastian Bach, Lita Ford and Quiet Riot on a short western run.
The band plays The Cove at River Spirit on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 8 pm. The Cove is a casino showroom on the west bank of the Arkansas River, a few hundred seats rather than a few thousand, which is a strange and pretty good place to watch a man who spent fifty years playing stadiums. Seeing these songs at this range is the point.
