About Candlebox
90s Seattle rock behind the hit Far Behind.
Candlebox came out of the early 90s Seattle scene, though they leaned more bluesy and melodic than grunge. Their self titled debut became a platinum selling smash on the back of Far Behind and You, with Kevin Martin's raspy voice out front.
More than thirty years on, they are still at it. The band announced a farewell a few years back, then could not stay away, and they are back on the road celebrating a long, durable career.
Live, Candlebox lean into the hits and that bluesy 90s rock warmth. When they headline Tulsa, expect a crowd that has carried these songs since high school.
